Amazon Reimbursement Case Tracker Guide

Monitoring Amazon Reimbursement Cases

Overview

Once the Amazon reimbursement service is initiated, the KwickMetrics team manages the claim process on your behalf. As cases are submitted and processed, you can monitor their progress through the Case Tracker section.

This article explains how to track Amazon reimbursement cases and understand recovery outcomes.

What Is Case Tracker

Case Tracker provides visibility into reimbursement cases created and managed for your Amazon account.

You can:

  1. View all active and closed reimbursement cases.

  2. Track the financial value associated with each case.

  3. Monitor whether a case is under review, reimbursed, or closed.

  4. Review historical recovery outcomes.

As a standard user, you can monitor cases but cannot create or edit them.

Case Views

Within Amazon reimbursement tracking, you may see:

  1. Overall Cases
Displays both active and completed cases.

  2. Reimbursed Cases
Displays cases where Amazon has partially or fully processed reimbursement.

Case availability and details reflect marketplace responses and internal claim handling.

Understanding Case Status

Case status helps you understand the stage of recovery. Common statuses may include:

  1. Open
The case is currently under review or being processed.

  2. Closed
The case has reached a final outcome.

  3. Partially Reimbursed
Amazon has reimbursed part of the claimed amount.

  4. Fully Reimbursed
Amazon has reimbursed the full eligible amount.

  5. Not Eligible
Amazon determined that the claim does not qualify under policy.

Status updates depend on Amazon’s response timelines.

How Recovery Is Reflected

When reimbursement is processed:

  1. The case status updates in Case Tracker.

  2. The recovered amount is reflected in the Claimed Amount section of the Dashboard.

  3. Historical records remain available for review.

This ensures transparency between identified eligible amounts and actual recovery.

Info
Amazon response times vary depending on case type and region. Status updates may take time to reflect after submission.

Prerequisites

  1. Your Amazon seller account must be connected.

  2. Reimbursement service must be initiated.

Summary

Case Tracker allows you to monitor Amazon reimbursement cases handled by KwickMetrics. You can track open and closed cases, understand recovery outcomes, and review how much has been successfully reimbursed.

While the reimbursement team manages the operational process, Case Tracker ensures you maintain visibility and control over recovery progress.
