Listing Tracker Overview: Tracking and Improving Listing Quality

Overview

Listing Tracker is a tool within the Listing Management module that helps sellers monitor the quality of their product listings across marketplaces and identify listings that may need improvement. It evaluates key listing content elements and highlights products with low-quality signals so sellers can take corrective action in a timely and structured way.

Explanation

Listing Tracker analyzes enabled products on a recurring basis and assigns quality scores based on listing content factors. These factors include title, description, and bullet points. Based on the analysis, the system surfaces products with weak scores as suggestions in a centralized view.

Each product is evaluated individually, and the results are grouped into different categories to help sellers understand where improvements are needed. Listing Tracker does not modify listings automatically. It only identifies opportunities and provides visibility into listing quality gaps.

The tool operates at two levels:

  1. Account level, where suggestions are enabled or disabled and products are selected for analysis.

  2. Product level, where individual listing suggestions can be reviewed, ignored, or explored in detail.

Usage

Listing Tracker should be used when sellers want to:
  1. Monitor overall listing quality across their catalog.

  2. Identify products with weak titles, descriptions, or bullet points.

  3. Prioritize listing optimization efforts based on data-driven scores.

  4. Maintain consistent listing quality across marketplaces.

  5. Control which products are included in listing analysis based on available credits.

Steps

  1. Open the Listing Management module.

  2. Navigate to Listing Tracker.

  3. Select the desired marketplace.

  4. Review the list of suggested products with low listing quality scores.

  5. Open individual products to review detailed breakdowns or proceed to optimization.

Important Rules and Behavior

Notes
Listing Tracker only analyzes products that are explicitly enabled for suggestions at the account level.
  1. Listing Tracker does not apply changes to listings automatically.

  2. Suggestions are generated only for supported marketplaces.

  3. Products must be enabled for suggestions to appear in the tracker.

  4. Listing quality scores are based on predefined scoring logic and ranges.

  5. Suggestions reflect analysis results for the configured analysis period.

Prerequisites

  1. Active KwickMetrics account with access to the Listing Management module.

  2. At least one supported marketplace integrated.

  3. Listing Tracker (Run suggestions) enabled at the account level.

  4. Sufficient Listing Management credits to enable products for analysis.

Summary

Listing Tracker provides a structured way to monitor listing quality and identify improvement opportunities across products. By highlighting weak listing content areas and giving sellers control over which products are analyzed, it helps maintain consistent listing standards while managing analysis scope and credit usage efficiently.
