KwickMetrics Listing Tracker Products and Credits Control

Managing Products and Credits for Listing Tracker Suggestions

Overview

This article explains how sellers control which products are included in Listing Tracker analysis and how Listing Management credits are used when running listing suggestions. This ensures sellers can manage analysis scope, costs, and priorities effectively.

Explanation

Listing Tracker does not automatically analyze all products in an account. Sellers must explicitly enable products for suggestion analysis. This control is managed at the account level through the product management process, where sellers decide whether suggestions should run and which products should be included.

Each enabled product consumes Listing Management credits on a recurring basis. Credits are shared across Listing Management tools and act as a safeguard to prevent unrestricted analysis.

Usage

Sellers should manage products and credits when they want to:
  1. Limit listing analysis to high-priority products.

  2. Control credit consumption across Listing Management tools.

  3. Add or remove products from suggestion analysis as catalog size changes.

  4. Temporarily disable listing suggestions at the account level.

  5. Review how many products are actively consuming credits.

Managing Products for Listing Tracker

Product management allows sellers to decide which products are evaluated for listing quality.

Key behaviors include:

  1. Suggestions can be enabled or disabled at the account level.

  2. Only selected products are included in listing analysis.

  3. Product selection determines weekly credit consumption.

  4. Changes to product selection require explicit confirmation.

Notes
NOTE: If suggestions are disabled at the account level, no products are analyzed and the Listing Tracker will show a disabled or empty state.

Credit Consumption Behavior

Listing Tracker uses Listing Management credits to analyze products.

Credit usage rules:

  1. Each enabled product consumes a fixed amount of credits per week.

  2. Total weekly credit usage is calculated based on the number of selected products.

  3. Credits are deducted only for products enabled for suggestions.

  4. If available credits are insufficient, updates to product selection cannot be saved.

Warning
WARNING: When credits are exhausted, sellers must reduce the number of enabled products or add more Listing Management credits before updating suggestions.

Important Rules and Behavior

  1. Products must be enabled before they appear in Listing Tracker suggestions.

  2. Disabling a product stops future analysis and credit usage for that product.

  3. Changes to enabled products are not applied until they are confirmed.

  4. Newly enabled products may not appear immediately until the next analysis cycle.

  5. Demo or restricted users cannot update product selections.

Prerequisites

  1. Access to the Listing Management module.

  2. Listing Tracker enabled at the account level.

  3. Available Listing Management credits.

  4. Required permissions to update product settings.

Summary

Managing products and credits in Listing Tracker gives sellers full control over which listings are analyzed and how credits are used. By enabling only relevant products and monitoring credit usage, sellers can run listing quality analysis efficiently without unnecessary spend.
