Managing Products in Keyword Tracker: Adding, Editing, and Controlling Tracking

Overview

This article explains how users manage products within Keyword Tracker. It covers adding products for tracking, editing tracked keywords and competitors, enabling or disabling tracking, and removing products when they are no longer needed.

Explanation

Keyword Tracker operates at a product level. Each product is added by marketplace and ASIN, with a defined set of keywords and optional competitor ASINs. Once added, users can control whether tracking is enabled, update the tracked keywords or competitors, or remove the product entirely.

All product actions are subject to marketplace scope, tracking status, and available Listing Management credits.


Usage

Users manage products in Keyword Tracker when they need to:
  1. Start tracking keyword rankings for a new product.

  2. Update the keywords or competitors being tracked.

  3. Pause or resume keyword tracking for a product.

  4. Remove products that no longer require tracking.


Steps: Add a Product for Tracking

  1. Navigate to Listing Management → Keyword Tracker.


  2. Select the required marketplace from the marketplace selector.


  3. Click Add Product.


  4. Select the product by ASIN for the chosen marketplace.

  5. Add at least one keyword to track.

  6. Optionally add competitor ASINs.

  7. Click Start tracking to save the product.



Notes
NOTE: A product must have at least one keyword to be added successfully.


Steps: Edit a Tracked Product

  1. Locate the product in the Keyword Tracker product list.

  2. Select the edit action for the product.


  3. Update the tracked keywords or competitor ASINs as required.

  4. Click Update to save changes.

INFO: If no changes are made, the update action may be disabled.


Steps: Enable or Disable Tracking

  1. Locate the product in the product list.

  2. Use the tracking toggle to turn tracking on or off.


  3. When enabling tracking:

    1. Choose whether to run the sync immediately or wait for the next scheduled sync.

    2. Immediate sync may be disabled if credits are insufficient.

  4. When disabling tracking:

    1. Data collection stops until tracking is re-enabled.


Warning
WARNING: Tracking actions may be temporarily disabled while a product is syncing.


Steps: Delete a Product

  1. Locate the product in the product list.

  2. Select the delete action for the product.


  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.


Alert
ALERT: Deleting a product stops all tracking and removes its keyword tracking data for that product.


Important Rules and Behavior

  1. A product can be tracked only once per marketplace.

  2. Each product requires at least one keyword.

  3. Keyword and competitor limits apply per product.

  4. Tracking cannot be modified while a product is in progress or updating.

  5. All actions consume or depend on Listing Management credits.


Prerequisites

  1. Access to the Listing Management module.

  2. Keyword Tracker feature enabled.

  3. Integrated marketplace channel.

  4. Available Listing Management credits.
