Understanding Listing Analyser Results: Comparison Table and KM Score Breakdown

Overview

This article explains how to interpret the results of a completed Listing Analyser session. The results are presented through a product comparison table and a detailed KM Score Breakdown, helping users understand how their listing compares to competitors across multiple dimensions.

Explanation

Once an analysis session is completed, the system generates a results view that includes two primary sections:
  1. A comparison table that displays key listing and performance metrics for the primary product and selected competitors.

  2. A KM Score Breakdown that evaluates listing quality against predefined guidelines and scoring criteria.

These results reflect the state of listings at the time the analysis was run.

Usage

Users review Listing Analyser results to assess relative listing quality, identify competitive strengths and weaknesses, and support manual listing optimization decisions.

Comparison Table: My Product vs Competitors

The comparison table provides a side-by-side view of the primary product and competitor products.

  1. Each row represents one product (the primary product and each competitor).

  2. Metrics include listing score (KM Score), price, ratings, reviews, media count, fulfillment type, offers, variations, and other listing attributes.

  3. Columns can be shown, hidden, reordered, and sorted to focus on specific metrics.

  4. Failed products that could not be analyzed are listed separately and do not appear as rows in the table.

  5. The primary product is clearly identified to distinguish it from competitors.

KM Score Breakdown

The KM Score Breakdown provides a factor-level evaluation of listing quality.

  1. Listings are evaluated across multiple guideline categories such as title, description, bullet points, performance, inventory, rich media, fulfillment, offers, reviews, variations, and A+ content.

  2. Each guideline shows a status for the primary product and each competitor.

  3. Status indicators include Good, Fair, or Poor, as well as Passed or Failed for specific checks.

  4. Users can expand or collapse guideline sections to view detailed checks.

  5. Competitor columns can be filtered so that at least one competitor remains visible at all times.

Important Rules and Behavior

  1. Only completed sessions can be opened to view results.

  2. Results represent a snapshot of listing data at the time of analysis and do not update automatically.

  3. At least one competitor must be selected when filtering competitor columns in the KM Score Breakdown.

  4. Failed ASINs are displayed separately and are excluded from comparison calculations.

Summary

Listing Analyser results are delivered through a structured comparison table and a guideline-based KM Score Breakdown. Together, these views help sellers understand current listing quality, compare against competitors, and identify gaps that can be addressed through manual optimization.
