Understanding sync states and alerts helps users identify why data may not be updating or why certain actions are temporarily unavailable.
Understand how and when keyword ranking data updates.
Enable or disable daily keyword alerts.
Identify the meaning of sync statuses and error states.
Resolve common issues such as disabled actions or missing data.
Keyword Tracker syncs ranking data only when tracking is enabled.
Syncs can run immediately or at the next scheduled time.
Immediate syncs require sufficient Listing Management credits.
During a sync, the product may show statuses such as queued, in progress, or updating.
After completion, the latest ranking data is displayed.

Queued – The product is waiting for its sync to start.
In Progress – Keyword ranking data is currently being collected.
Updating – The system is processing and saving ranking data.
Completed – Sync finished successfully and data is available.
Completed with Errors – Sync finished, but some keywords may have issues.
Failed – Sync did not complete successfully.
Paused – Tracking is turned off for the product.

Keyword Tracker supports daily email alerts for ranking changes.
Alerts provide a summary of keyword position updates.
Alerts can be enabled or disabled from the Alerts option in Keyword Tracker.
Users can also unsubscribe using a link provided in alert emails.

Keyword Tracker uses credits from the shared Listing Management credit pool.
If credits are insufficient:
Immediate sync actions may be disabled.
Warning banners or modals may appear.
Tracking data will not update until credits are available.

Tracking toggle is disabled
Reason: Product is currently syncing.
Resolution: Wait for the sync to complete and refresh the page.
“Run sync now” is unavailable
Reason: Insufficient Listing Management credits.
Resolution: Add credits or choose the scheduled sync option.
No ranking data visible
Reason: No completed sync or no keywords added.
Resolution: Add keywords and ensure a sync has completed.
Partial ranking data shown
Reason: Sync completed with errors.
Resolution: Review keyword list and wait for the next successful sync.
Actions disabled in demo mode
Reason: Account is in demo or impersonation mode.
Resolution: Use a standard account to perform write actions.
Keyword Tracker tracking enabled for at least one product.
Available Listing Management credits.
Completed or scheduled sync.
